The Legend of Rainbow Crow:
Lauren Hooker captivates children with this beautiful Lenape legend brought to life with authentic Native American songs, flute music, drums and gourd rattles. As the tale unfolds, the children become the characters of the story through Native American sign language, singing songs and dancing an authentic toe-heel dance step. The party includes children making their own "fire sticks" out of recycled materials that can be brought home as a party favor.
The Fire Children:
Lauren Hooker brings to life a lively and joyful rendition of an African Creation Myth celebrating the earth and its‚ multi-cultural people with Djembe Drum, Thumb Piano, and life sized Akuaba Dolls and Moon-mask. The children join in with movement games, songs and African dance motions. The party includes children making their own Akuaba dolls - symbols of beautiful and healthy children - out of recycled materials that can be brought home as a party favor.
Paint the Music:
Featuring Nitza Danieli-Horner, Israeli Sculptor and Metropolitan Museum of Art Educator, this unique program consists of the participants creating original artwork while exploring line, shape and color found in improvisational music, poetry and slides from the Metropolitan Museum of Art Collection - helping children of all ages to "see" music and "hear" art.
Lights, Camera, Party:
A fun interactive program in which participants work with professional actress Gloria Boucher to create their own movie based on a script tailored to special needs and/or themes. Camera equipment, props and a trunk full of costumes are available for children to create their own character. When not acting, participants get to watch the monitor for the pre-programmed special effects. It ends with a group shot and can be transferred onto DVD or VHS for a copy to keep. (Up to 15 participants only).
History of the Drum:
A wonderful workshop designed to entertain children through performance, storytelling, interactive participation and craft making. Vince Ector brings with him various percussion instruments and explores rhythmic patterns from various continents such as, Africa, South America, The Caribbean and North America. Children take home their own handmade instrument as a party favor.

She delights young and old alike with puppets, props, instruments, call and response, sign language, the language of each culture, and singing. A related craft translates into a wonderful party favor.
